Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee field operations, lead the operations team, and coordinate with airlines and airport authorities to ensure smooth service delivery.

You will drive crisis management, implement operational procedures, and continuously analyze processes to boost efficiency while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance across all stations. The role requires extensive travel and strong leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of leadership/operational experience.
• Established leader in managing large teams.
• Ability to travel >75% between airport stations.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Strong knowledge of airport operations procedures and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of services for customer airlines and airports within the contract and budget.
• Ensure safety and security policies and procedures meet applicable standards.
• Liaise with airline station managers, airport operations managers, handling agents, Customs, Immigration and Security officials, and other airport stakeholders.
• Manage local recruiting and staffing initiatives to meet service level/quality assurance standards.
• Monitor performance and take action to correct shortfalls.
• Collaborate with Senior leadership on operational gaps, irregularities and audits.
• Guide and mentor the local team.
• Investigate and report all accidents, incidents, and irregularities including work-related incidents and aircraft damage.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and required security measures.
• Promote and support workplace diversity initiatives.
• Assist and/or lead startup operations across all lines of business.
• Backfill open leadership positions during vacancy times.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
