Job summary

Menzies Aviation is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day airport operations at the Atlanta facility. You will lead operational teams, coordinate with airline partners and authorities, and ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality service delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, data-driven decision making, and the ability to manage budgets and schedules in a fast-paced environment. A Driver's License and high school diploma are required; prior aviation operations experience

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years in airport/aviation operations or transportation operations.
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Strong knowledge of airport operations, safety regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Experience leading large teams in fast-paced environments.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and reporting tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage schedules and budgets and track metrics.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily airport operations and ensure efficient execution of activities.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and workforce allocation to meet demands.
• Ensure compliance with FAA, TSA, OSHA, and local regulations.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions.
• Lead and coach supervisors and frontline staff.
• Coordinate with airlines, airport authorities, vendors, and government agencies.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective measures.
• Conduct audits to ensure safety and operational standards.
• Manage budgets, labor costs, and resource utilization.
• Develop contingency plans for weather events and disruptions.
• Communicate updates and procedures across teams.
• Support customer service initiatives and resolve escalations.
• Drive continuous improvement in operations.
