Job summary

United Ground Express is seeking a Supervisor at SHV Shreveport Louisiana Regional Airport to support the General Manager in daily operations, service, and financial performance. You will lead the station team, ensure safety and security compliance, and foster a positive work environment while delivering a high level of customer service.

You will manage budgets, staffing, and resources, while maintaining facilities and equipment to professional standards.

• Must be flexible to work all shifts and, when necessary, available 7 days a week / 24 hours a day, including holidays and weekends.
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Cross utilized experience (Above the Wing/Below the Wing) required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operational and financial performance of the station.
• Monitor performance against plan and initiate corrective actions to improve results.
• Ensure safety requirements and security responsibilities are met.
• Set a positive example for the station team to ensure excellent customer service.
• Maintain a positive work environment and strong employee relations.
• Solicit customer feedback to understand needs and improve the travel experience.
• Provide coaching and direction to the station team to achieve goals.
• Manage the station budget, staffing forecasts and resource requirements.
• Maintain station facilities and equipment to high professional standards.
• Maintain compliance with station controls and internal audit standards.
