Job summary

Worldwide Flight Services in Las Vegas at Harry Reid International Airport is seeking an Airport Operations Supervisor to oversee daily operations, safety, and staffing of Operations Agents and ground staff, ensuring efficient ramp and terminal flow.

This full-time role requires aviation experience and strong communication, with a focus on safety, incident response, and staff coaching to uphold service excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to lift and carry baggage or cargo as needed.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to fluently read, write, and speak English.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and flight crews.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and shifts, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
• At least 1 year previous experience in aviation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide guidance to a team of Airline Services Agents, ensuring they meet performance and safety standards.
• Monitor and direct ramp activities, including loading/unloading baggage and operating ground support equipment.
• Enforce adherence to airport safety and security regulations, conducting regular safety briefings and inspections.
• Act as a liaison between ground control, flight crews, and ramp agents to ensure smooth operational flow.
• Conduct regular training sessions to improve staff competency in ramp operations and passenger services.
• Address operational challenges and provide timely resolutions.
