Job summary

Maximus Global Services is seeking a Lead Agent (Operations) to oversee wheelchair agents, porters, and related staff at an airport in Las Vegas. You will ensure staffing coverage, monitor service delivery, and enforce security procedures with TSA and CBP compliance.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in airport customer service, a high school diploma or GED, and strong leadership, communication, and teamwork to drive excellent passenger assistance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years’ experience in customer service at airport or similar entities.
• Pass a background check and drug test.
• Computer literacy in MS Office packages such as Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the timely and satisfactory completion of work assignments in accordance with Company and Client policies and procedures.
• Review daily schedules and assign breaks when needed.
• Have all the necessary information for flights, arrival and departure times and services requested.
• Ensure all employees follow security procedures for each entity (e.g., TSA, CBP).
• Follow up on client requests (airlines and passengers).
• Report to the supervisor any issue related to staff (tardiness, absenteeism, performance, conduct).
• Conduct on-the-job training for staff.
• Ensure wheelchairs are accounted for and placed at the assigned location.
• Demonstrate teamwork, stress management, ethical conduct, and strong communication.
• Uphold customer service and leadership expectations.
