Job summary

WHSmith is seeking an Operations Delivery Manager for Ronald Reagan National Airport in Arlington, VA to lead field operations on a single property, partner with store leadership, and drive performance and consistency.

In this role you will analyze operational data, coach leaders and frontline teams, implement initiatives, ensure compliance, and support the smooth execution of promotions and customer experiences across the property.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive retail, hospitality, airport, or high-volume operations leadership.
• Proven ability to lead through influence and coach store teams.
• Strong understanding of retail KPIs, labor productivity, and inventory controls.
• Ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into action plans.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead property-based Field Operations to drive performance and execution.
• Coach store leaders on day-to-day routines, engagement, inventory, and compliance.
• Analyze sales, labor, shrink, inventory accuracy, and scorecards to identify trends.
• Implement action plans to improve operations and customer experience.
• Ensure adherence to loss prevention, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with Multi-Unit Manager to drive workforce readiness.
