Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Jacksonville, FL, seeks an Operations Agent to coordinate daily airport activities, monitor flight schedules, gate assignments and baggage handling while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. The role requires clear communication with airline staff and airport personnel, and proactive response to operational changes.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in airport operations or a related field.
• Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including IPads/Tablets and mobile devices.
• Ability to obtain required credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs as applicable).
• Willingness to work varied shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily airport operational activities.
• Monitor flight schedules, gate assignments, and resources.
• Liaise with airline representatives, ground crew, and ATC.
• Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and safety standards.
• Respond to operational issues and emergencies promptly.
• Provide timely information to staff and passengers regarding flight status.
• Manage passenger boarding and disembarking processes.
• Oversee baggage handling and resolve baggage-related issues.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams for aircraft and facility upkeep.
• Assist in emergency response plans and protocols.
• Monitor weather conditions and their impact on operations.
• Prepare and maintain operational reports and logs.
• Participate in training and development programs related to airport operations.
• Maintain high levels of customer service and passenger satisfaction.
