Job summary

The City of Boise is seeking a Technician to support the Boise Airport's growing maintenance program. You will troubleshoot, repair, operate and maintain equipment and systems across terminal, parking areas and baggage handling.

This role offers a clear career path—from Technician to Technician Sr., then Maintenance Mechanic Sr., and finally Airport Maintenance Mechanic Lead—along with comprehensive benefits and required security screenings.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of facility maintenance, safety and security systems, baggage handling systems, PLCs, HVAC and related controls.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and the operation of related tools and software.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, diagnoses, operates, repairs and maintains equipment and systems at the airport.
• Performs maintenance and remodels on terminal, parking areas, and rental properties.
• Works under supervision while handling multiple tasks in baggage handling system.
• Coordinates with supervisors to keep airport operations running smoothly.
