Job summary

Oshkosh AeroTech, an Oshkosh company, is seeking a Maintenance Repair Technician at Salt Lake City International Airport. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and maintain airport baggage handling equipment and related controls, ensuring accurate maintenance data and timely responses to calls.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years in maintenance operations, and the ability to read schematics with PLC knowledge. Shift flexibility and airport badge eligibility are needed.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
Valid Driver's License required.
1–2 years’ experience in maintenance operations.
Industrial Electrical experience with 3-phase motors and 480V.
Mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.
Familiarity with airport operations a plus.
Intermediate understanding of PLC control systems.
Computer skills in Word and Excel.
Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
Ability to be badged to work in secure airport areas.
Ability to work 1st or 2nd shift including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Diagnose.
Troubleshoot.
Repair and maintain airport baggage handling equipment and related controls equipment, components, and systems.
Provide concise, accurate, and detailed data for input of maintenance information.
Provide emergency and scheduled maintenance repairs of equipment and facilities.
Read and interpret electrical schematics and work orders to perform maintenance and service.
Complete daily work log and work order paperwork for shift tasks.
Respond to maintenance calls as required.
Work productively in a diverse, multicultural environment.
Comply with safety program.
Perform other duties as assigned.
