Job summary

Elite Line Services in Los Angeles is seeking an Maintenance Technician to assist with basic maintenance and repair of Baggage Handling Systems and Passenger Boarding Bridges. You will support technicians, perform routine inspections, cleaning, and adjustments, and help diagnose equipment under supervision.

The role requires a GED or high school diploma, at least 1 year of mechanical experience (plus BHS or PBB exposure), and the ability to work non-traditional hours including weekends and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of mechanical experience; 1 year BHS or PBB experience or ability to pass a mechanical aptitude test.
• Ability to work non-traditional schedules including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic maintenance tasks: preventive, routine and emergency maintenance, clearing system jams, inspections, cleaning, and adjustments.
• May help diagnose equipment failures under supervision of senior personnel; ensure equipment runs safely.
• Read and follow repair manuals, basic schematics, and supervisor instructions.
• Work in tight spaces with PPE and fall protection; comply with safety policies and procedures.
• Complete forms for work assignments and training as required, and assist with duties assigned by management.
