Job summary

Oshkosh AeroTech is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager to lead a large, complex operation at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), overseeing 150+ facilities and critical HVAC, electrical, plumbing and structural systems.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of facilities maintenance leadership, experience managing contractors, and a proven record in high-demand environments. This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and customer-facing leadership.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of facilities maintenance experience in large, critical facilities.
• Three or more years in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or structural maintenance.
• Supervisory or management experience leading facilities teams.
• Strong knowledge of major building systems, especially HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Experience managing contractors, vendors, and equipment troubleshooting in a large facility.
• Leadership, communication, and customer-service skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain airport security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day facilities maintenance operations, including supervision of site teams and contractors.
• Provide technical leadership across building systems, with focus on HVAC and related equipment.
• Oversee electrical infrastructure and building systems maintenance.
• Direct plumbing and water-system maintenance and related facilities tasks.
• Assess failures and determine internal repair vs. vendor support needs.
• Manage outside contractors and service providers, evaluating scope, costs and completed work.
• Build and develop a high-performing team with a culture of safety and accountability.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure service delivery meets contractual scope.
• Support emergency response and be available outside normal hours when needed.
