Qualifications

• Nine (9) years of work experience in a fast-paced customer service operation.
• Associate's degree plus seven (7) years of experience in a fast-paced customer service operation, two years in a supervisory role.
• Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of experience in a fast-paced customer service operation, two years in a supervisory role.
• Master's degree or higher plus four (4) years of experience in a fast-paced customer service operation, two years in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Supervises clerical staff at O'Hare and Midway responsible for reviewing ID badge applications and granting access to airport facilities.
• Ensures procedures are followed for reviewing documents, verifying identifications, and scanning documents in the badging system.
• Oversees fingerprinting, background checks, and transmission to security vendors and federal agencies.
• Monitors daily operations, resolves customer issues delaying processing, and coordinates with vendors for system problems.
• Prepares reports on work activities and performance measures, and suggests procedural improvements.
