Job summary

DNATA in Philadelphia is seeking a Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Mechanic A to diagnose and repair gas and diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems. You will troubleshoot using schematics, perform PMI inspections, and ensure equipment is safe and ready for daily operations.

The candidate should own required tools, hold a valid driver’s license and FAA/airport identifications, and have 2–5 years of related experience with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Professional and detail-oriented thought process.
• Able to work various shifts, including weekends.
• Must be able to work safely in an environment with chemicals, dust, and noise.
• Two to five years related experience and/or training.
• Possess/maintain a valid state driver’s license and FAA/Airport identification or authorizations.
• Certified in Air Brake adjustment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions using electrical and hydraulic schematics with test equipment.
• Repair, recondition, and maintain equipment components.
• Prepare and complete electronic work orders.
• Maintain company equipment in clean, orderly, and functioning condition.
• Perform scheduled Preventative Maintenance Inspections (PMIs).
• Read and understand Manufacturer provided literature.
• Communicate with associates and management regarding equipment conditions and recommendations.
• Able to meet the Station's attendance standards.
• Promote a safe work environment and comply with company policies.
