Job summary

ERMC Aviation seeks a skilled Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Mechanic to maintain and repair airport ground support equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and power units, ensuring safe and efficient operations for airport and airline activities.

The role requires experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to work in physically demanding environments. Full-time on-site with comprehensive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance; hydraulic systems knowledge a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• GSE or heavy equipment maintenance experience preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be able to obtain an airport security badge.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on ground support equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Repair or replace defective parts and ensure proper equipment functionality.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
• Respond promptly to service requests and emergency breakdowns.
• Collaborate with operations teams to minimize equipment downtime.
