City of Atlanta seeks an Airport Grounds Maintenance Team Lead- Landside to supervise crews and ensure safe operations around the airport campus in Atlanta, GA. The role oversees fleet, equipment, and compliance with FAA/OSHA standards, and supports training of new staff.

The position requires five years of related experience and a CDL Class A license, with a focus on leadership and operational efficiency in a dynamic airport environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 5 years related work experience.
• Licensure: Class A CDL
• Airport experience and Cityworks experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Leads and coordinates the daily activities of Grounds Maintenance personnel to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Oversees daily operation, inspection, and accountability of fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Ensures compliance with City of Atlanta, Department of Aviation, OSHA, FAA safety requirements.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
• Maintains documentation including daily work logs and Cityworks records.
• Assists with training for new and less experienced employees.
• Supports airport security and emergency operations response.
