Job summary

Lehigh Northampton Airport Authority is seeking an entry-level, part-time Ground Handler at Lehigh Valley International Airport in Allentown, PA. This position supports airline partners by performing a broad range of aircraft ground handling tasks to keep operations safe, efficient, and on time.

Responsibilities include towing and marshaling aircraft, servicing lavatories and potable water, de-icing, interior cleaning, loading and unloading baggage, operating heavy equipment, maintaining a clean

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must wear the uniform and PPE provided.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• English language skills including speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Tow and marshal aircraft to and from gates and designated parking areas.
• Perform lavatory and potable water servicing, as well as aircraft deicing operations.
• Conduct aircraft interior cleaning and security searches.
• Stock aircraft and commissary carts with supplies.
• Load, unload, and transport luggage and cargo between aircraft and terminal areas.
• Operate baggage tractors/tugs, belt loaders, pushback tugs, deicing trucks, and commissary trucks.
• Maintain a safe ramp environment and communicate professionally via radio, phone, and email.
