Job summary

Lehigh Valley International Airport in Allentown, PA is seeking a full-time Airport Operations Specialist to oversee daily airport operations, inspections, and compliance with ACM and 14 CFR Part 139. You will conduct airfield, terminal, and landside inspections, manage wildlife control, secure access points, coordinate emergency responses, and liaise with FAA, ARFF, police, and tenants.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, strong regulatory knowledge, and a valid driver's license are

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in aviation-related field with operations exposure.
• Ability to learn FAR Part 139, TSR Part 1542 and related rules.
• Proficient PC skills including Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily airport operations through inspections of airfield, terminal and landside areas.
• Coordinate safety and compliance per ACM and 14 CFR Part 139; document results.
• Implement wildlife control and conduct perimeter inspections to reduce hazards.
• Monitor security access points and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
• Coordinate emergency responses with ARFF, police and other agencies.
