Job summary

Colonial Group in the United States seeks a dnata Ground Service Agent Supervisor to lead a team responsible for loading and unloading aircraft safely and efficiently. You will guide operations, ensure alignment with flight schedules, and maintain high standards of safety on the ramp.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of Ground Service Agent or supervisory experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass SIDA training.

Qualifications

• Possess/maintain a valid state driver's license and FAA/Airport identifications.
• Must pass SIDA airport and training tests.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer literacy.
• 1-2 years Ground Service Agent and/or Supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of 5 to 10 agents responsible for loading/unloading aircraft.
• Guide inbound/outbound airplanes to and from the gate.
• Load and unload passenger bags and cargo safely and efficiently.
• Operate ground support equipment such as tow tractors and belt loaders.
• Maintain safety policies and comply with regulations on the ramp.
• Communicate with ground personnel and flight crews.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure on-time flights.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Stand, lift up to 70 pounds, and ascend/descend jet-way stairs.
• Read and interpret load sheets, baggage tags, and cargo labels.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
