Job summary

On the Go is seeking an Airport Finance Manager at MCO to oversee accounting, general ledger, financial statement preparation, treasury, accounts receivable and accounts payable, with strong internal controls to safeguard assets.

The role leads the Money Room and Accounting teams, analyzes weekly results, reviews Crunchtime/Mirus reports, and partners with the Terminal Director to meet financial goals. GAAP knowledge and hospitality experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• 3–5 years as an Accounting Manager in hospitality/food & beverage/retail.
• Proven ability to manage and develop staff.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of proficiency in spreadsheets and accounting systems.
• Knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
• Travel as required.
• Experience with Oracle accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Money Room Team and cash reporting; ensure crew cash controls integrity.
• Oversee the Accounting Team and timely invoice processing for payments.
• Analyze and report weekly financial results per company format.
• Review Crunchtime & Mirus reports for accuracy and discrepancies.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and explain book-to-physical adjustments.
• Audit invoices to ensure proper cost accounting; report weekly.
• Prepare weekly/monthly forecasts and expense budgets.
• Explain variances from actuals to budget to support planning.
• Ensure purchases align with budget across markets, restaurants, LBW.
• Review and approve monthly accruals; correct month entries.
• Analyze schedules to minimize overtime; coordinate with Terminal Director.
• Provide daily/weekly/monthly reports to the Terminal Director.
• Walkthrough terminals to enforce policies; support internal controls.
