Job summary

Tucson Airport Authority (TAA) manages the Tucson International Airport and Ryan Airfield, led by the VP/CFO who oversees the Finance Division, budgeting, forecasting and reporting to the Board.

The Chief Financial Officer will direct all accounting, budgeting, internal controls, debt management and capital planning, while ensuring GAAP compliance and collaboration with stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field.
• MBA and/or CPA preferred.
• Progressive financial leadership and management experience, preferably in public or governmental aviation settings.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and coordinate the Finance Division operations and budgeting.
• Prepare financial statements and reports for the Board and stakeholders.
• Oversee forecasting, cash management, and investment activities.
• Lead internal controls, audits and compliance with GAAP and regulations.
• Direct debt management, capital planning and bonds administration.
• Supervise staff and mentor division personnel for performance.
