Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent; no felony conviction in any state or federal jurisdiction.
• Ability to operate airport vehicles and communicate effectively in high-noise environments.
• Must obtain and maintain access to the Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) and drive airport vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Enforce traffic rules and regulations on Tucson Airport Authority properties.
• Direct, control, and regulate traffic including issuing citations.
• Proficiently drive airport vehicles to support enforcement and customer service.
• Prepare reports of investigative findings in writing or dictation and present testimony when required.
• Respond to airport emergencies and coordinate with public safety and operational teams.
• Maintain effective communication in person, by radio, and by telephone.
