Job summary

The Tucson Airport Authority (TAA) is seeking a Grants and Compliance Accountant to support grant reporting, SEFA, and closeout activities.

You will assist with month-end close, grant reconciliations, asset tracking, audits, and reporting, ensuring compliance with funding agencies and internal controls. This role requires GAAP knowledge, strong Excel and ERP skills, and effective cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field with two years of related experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP, Excel (intermediate), and ERP software.
• Advanced account reconciliations and financial analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and record monthly reimbursement packets and entries per GAAP.
• Support month-end close and GL reconciliations including project accounts.
• Assist grant audits and ensure documentation for SEFA and ACFR.
• Reconcile grant expenditures and maintain asset-related reports.
• Collaborate with Grants and Compliance and other departments as needed.
