Job summary

Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) in Austin, TX, is seeking a Facility Trainer to design and deliver training for new hires and tenured staff. The role emphasizes regulatory and practical instruction, with a compensation of $25.00/hourly and a focus on safety.

The trainer will create milestones, conduct skills assessments, coordinate trainings and maintain accurate records. A HS Diploma or GED is required, with WFS Instructor Certification preferred and 6 months of related experience advantageous.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED or equivalent is required.
• WFS or Carrier Instructor Certification is preferred.
• Minimum 6 months related operational experience is preferred.
• Current qualification and experience on training subject or learning plan is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provides company, regulatory, carrier or practical training for individuals or groups including new hires and tenured employees.
• Creates milestones and training plans to be achieved.
• Conducts skill needs assessments to identify gaps and training objectives.
• Coordinates trainings and re-certifications to ensure consistency in delivery.
• Maintains training rosters and records according to requirements.
• Observes employees to evaluate training effectiveness and identify additional needs.
• Complies with safety policies and reports unsafe activities to supervisor.
