Job summary

Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) is seeking a Training Specialist to develop and deliver training for new hires and tenured employees across our ground handling operations. You will design milestones, create training plans, coordinate certifications, and assess gaps to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months related operational experience preferred.
• WFS or Carrier Instructor Certification.
• Current qualification and experience on training subject or learning plan.
• Problems and systematically investigates the various components.
• Has a complete picture of the context and overview of the whole problem.

Responsibilities

• Provides company, regulatory, carrier or practical training for individual or group settings to new hire as well as tenured employees.
• Creates milestones to be achieved through training methods and create training plans.
• Conducts skill needs assessments to identify specific skill/knowledge gaps, training objectives, work situations and changes in training policies and procedures.
• Coordinates trainings and re-certifications, ensuring training is designed, delivered and evaluated for consistency.
• Observes employees to determine the effectiveness of training programs and ensure that any additional training requirements are fulfilled.
• Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and Safety Manager.
• Maintains training rosters and records with trainees and complies with appropriate training recordkeeping requirements.
