Job summary

Worldwide Flight Services is seeking a Facility Trainer in Seattle to provide training for new hires and tenured employees using multiple learning methods. The role includes designing training plans, coordinating certifications, and maintaining accurate training records.

The position requires an HS Diploma or GED, and a relevant instructor certification. Regular full-time hours apply with opportunities for advancement within the Operations department and engagement in a safety-conscious work

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months related operational experience preferred.
• WFS or Carrier Instructor Certification.
• Current qualification and experience on training subject or learning plan.

Responsibilities

• Provides company, regulatory, carrier or practical training for individual or group settings to new hire as well as tenured employees.
• Creates milestones to be achieved through training methods and create training plans.
• Conducts skill needs assessments to identify specific skill/knowledge gaps, training objectives, work situations and changes in training policies and procedures.
• Coordinates trainings and re-certifications, ensuring training is designed, delivered and evaluated for consistency.
• Observes employees to determine the effectiveness of training programs and ensure that any additional training requirements are fulfilled.
• Maintains training rosters and records with trainees and complies with appropriate training recordkeeping requirements.
