Job summary

Paine Field Airport, part of Snohomish County, is seeking a full-time Airport Maintenance Technician III. The role involves varied semi-skilled to skilled building and grounds maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, and equipment operation, with outdoor work in all weather. A Washington driver’s license is required; CDL desired.

The position supports Snohomish County’s critical airport operations. Training and career growth are available in a collaborative, outdoors-friendly environment

Qualifications

Three (3) years of experience performing a variety of skilled building and grounds maintenance or building construction work.
Experience in airport facility maintenance and landscaping management or master gardener experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of minor building repairs and carpentry tasks.
Paint interior and exterior surfaces and prepare them for finishing.
Operate and maintain construction and maintenance equipment.
Inspect and repair electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
Supervise multi-day projects and coordinate related labor and materials.
Install and repair traffic and informational signs on buildings, roads, and aircraft movement areas.
Perform FAA Part 139 inspections and wildlife control tasks.
