Job summary

Snohomish County Paine Field is hiring two Airport Operations Specialists to manage FAA Part 139 and TSA 1542 requirements and oversee diverse operations of the airfield. The roles require coordinating internal and external stakeholders to ensure safe, secure, around-the-clock operations.

Successful candidates will be detail-oriented, professional, and reliable, with experience in general aviation or commercial service.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Airport/Business Administration or related field; AND one year of airfield operations experience; OR any equivalent combination of training and/or experience that provides the required knowledge and abilities.
Experience with FAA Part 139 and TSA 1542 regulations is preferred.
Knowledge of NOTAM Manager System and radar flight tracking is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with FAA Part 139 and TSA 1542 requirements and manage related training programs.
Coordinate security, wildlife management, and airside/landside operations to minimize disruptions.
Monitor and respond to airfield incidents, communicate with airlines, tenants and agencies, and coordinate NOTAMs.
