HMSHost Corporation is hiring for a Manager II position at an airport location in Chicago. The role supports branch management in executing complex QSR or casual dine operations, ensuring the restaurant is prepared for business, staffed, and operating to high standards.

The Manager II will follow prescribed policies, supervise daily activities of associates, and collaborate with the GM to maintain service quality, safety, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory or lead experience in a Casual Dine restaurant or production kitchen.
• Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, and converse comfortably with customers.

Responsabilités

• Completes opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies/procedures.
• Assists the GM/AGM in managing day-to-day activities of associates within a defined unit or group of restaurants or points-of-sale.
• Ensures compliance with all company beverage policies and AB procedures by staff.
• Participates in the interview process and aids in hiring decisions to the GM.
• Assigns work tasks, prepares schedules, and ensures shifts are covered.
• Monitors mandated rest breaks and meal periods for associates.
• Maintains clean, stocked, and visually appealing display areas.
• Ensures all equipment is in good working order.
• Operates cash register and handles transactions per policies and cash handling procedures.
• Monitors wellness and safety procedures and communicates safety concerns to the GM.
• Performs Health and Safety activities as specified in health and safety guidelines.
• Places orders for units, receives goods, processes invoices.
• Ensures current contact information for all associates is maintained.
