Job summary

The Server at Austin Airport delivers food and beverages to guests, entering orders accurately and in sequence, and ensuring timely service. You will coordinate with the kitchen, respond to guest needs, and work to provide the highest level of service in a fast-paced environment.

This non-exempt position reports to management and requires the ability to lift up to 20 lbs, stand for extended periods, and maintain courteous interaction with customers in a busy airport setting.

Qualifications

• State minimum age for serving alcohol.
• At least 6 months of serving experience.
• Ability to interact with guests in a friendly manner.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Take and deliver food and beverage orders; check back for guest satisfaction.
• Maintain table appearance and restock supplies.
• Present check and handle payment.
• Follow HMSHost policies on customer service, beverage service, and cash handling.
• Keep station clean and ready for service.
