Job summary

HMSHost, operating at the airport, is seeking a Server A to take and deliver food and beverage orders in a fast-paced setting. You will coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and maintain high guest satisfaction.

This non-exempt role requires serving experience, compliance with alcohol-service age rules, and the ability to lift up to 20 lbs. Training and growth opportunities are available at this high-volume location.

Qualifications

• Must meet state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages.
• Requires at least 6 months of serving experience; high-volume or fast-casual preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner.
• Requires the ability to lift and/or move up to 20lbs.
• Requires the ability to walk, bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions.
• Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents.

Responsibilities

• Takes food and beverage orders, places orders, delivers orders, checks back after delivery to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintains table appearance, pre-bussing, checks drink levels and napkins.
• Present check for payment and provide change as needed.
• Follows HMSHost customer service, adult beverage and cash handling policies.
• Keeps station clean, sets up and takes down station tables.
