Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a Server at the Anchorage Airport location to take and deliver food and drink orders, ensuring timely service and guest satisfaction. The role requires handling multiple tasks, cash handling, and adhering to service standards.

The successful candidate will have at least 6 months of serving experience, be able to lift up to 20 pounds, and meet the state age requirement for serving alcohol. This is a non-exempt position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must meet state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages.
• Requires at least 6 months of closely related serving experience.
• Experience in high-volume or fast casual dining preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
• Good communication and guest service skills.

Responsibilities

• Takes food and beverage orders, places orders, delivers orders, and checks back after delivery.
• Maintains table appearance by pre-bussing, checks drink levels, and removes clutter.
• Present checks for payment and provide change as needed.
• Follows HMSHost policies for customer service, adult beverages, and cash handling.
• Keeps station clean and prepares/takes down station tables.
