Job summary

Egis, in partnership with Lochner, is expanding its U.S. engineering team to deliver transportation, aviation, and infrastructure projects across the country. This role focuses on airport project design and related civil engineering tasks, contributing to reports, plans, and specifications.

You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, coordinate tasks, and apply FAA criteria where relevant, supporting fast-paced, growth-focused projects with growth opportunities across North America.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• PE designation preferred.
• 1+ years in civil engineering; aviation experience and FAA knowledge a plus.
• Ability to coordinate multiple project tasks.
• Self-motivated and able to handle a fast-paced position.
• Goal and deadline oriented.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Design of airport projects including runways, taxiways, aprons, airfield lighting, and navigational aids.
• Prepare engineering design reports, construction plans, and contract documents/specifications.
• Experience in general civil engineering design including site design, sanitary wastewater, water, and hydraulic evaluation is a plus.
