Job summary

Lochner is seeking an Airport Design Engineer for our Sacramento, CA office. The role focuses on designing runways, taxiways, aprons, airfield lighting, and navigational aids, with responsibilities including reports, plans, and specifications.

The candidate should hold a B.S. in Civil Engineering, be a PE (preferred), and have 4+ years in civil engineering with aviation knowledge as a plus. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Office is expected.

  • Design of airport engineering projects including runways, taxiways, aprons, airfield lighting, navigational aids, etc.
  • Preparation of engineering design reports, construction plans, and contract documents / technical specifications.
  • Experience in design of general civil engineering projects including site design, sanitary wastewater, water and hydraulic evaluation a plus.

Compensation & Pay Transparency

At Egis, we believe transparency helps candidates make informed career decisions. As part of our commitment to an open and equitable hiring process, we've included the anticipated base salary range for this position below.

Anticipated Base Salary Range: $105,000 – $140,000 annually.
