American Airlines is seeking a Full Time Customer Service Agent at the President Donald J. Trump International Airport. The role requires strong customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced airport environment.

Starting pay is $20.23 per hour, with hourly rate considerations and union-related terms under the CWA-IBT agreement. Responsibilities include ticketing, reservations, check-in, boarding, baggage handling, and assisting passengers, including those with special needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or international equivalent.
• Bilingual language skills required in some locations.
• Applicable valid driver’s license as required by local authorities.
• Must fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security ID display areas (SIDA).
• Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background checks.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsabilités

• Issue, reissue and refund passenger tickets.
• Book, ticket and confirm flight reservations.
• Rebook passengers on oversold flights and during irregular operations.
• Perform passenger check-in and seating; issue upgrades.
• Coordinate with contractors for passenger hotel accommodations and meals.
• Perform passenger boarding and baggage handling tasks.
• Operate gate reader/scanner and jetways for boarding and deplaning.
• Make boarding and departure announcements.
• Provide keepers of flight documents and close-out procedures.
• Assist passengers with special needs and unaccompanied minors.
• Maintain on-site attendance and comply with overtime requirements.
• Respond to security and emergency situations and provide gate information.
