Qualifications

Two years of custodial, janitorial or building maintenance experience.
A valid State of Illinois driver's license is required.
Positions in the Department of Aviation must obtain airfield certification within six months of hire.
Candidate(s) selected for hire must pass an airport background check and a Security Threat Assessment (STA).
You must provide your valid U.S. driver's license at time of processing.

Responsibilities

Oversee Custodial Workers performing cleaning and custodial duties in city facilities.
M ake daily work assignments and prioritize work based on manpower and objectives.
Inspect and supervise work at airport facilities and outlying sites.
Ensure proper cleaning of restrooms, offices, lobbies, and corridors.
Train Custodial Workers on tasks and safety procedures.
Approve time off requests and monitor performance.
