The O'Hare Multi-Modal Facility is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Custodian for a full-time role at Chicago O'Hare International Airport, 10255 W Zemke Blvd, Chicago, IL 60666. Starting pay is $18/hour based on a 40-hour week.

Responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining customer-facing areas, breakrooms, restrooms, and the floorplate lot while upholding safety and quality standards; strong customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have valid driver's license with no more than one moving violation in the past three years.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship.
• Must live within 30 minutes of O'Hare Airport.
• Must have 12 consecutive months of work/organizational experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, clean, and maintain child safety seats for rental brands.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and maintain floors.
• Clean and sanitize customer service areas, offices, breakrooms, restrooms, and common spaces.
• Empty trash and dispose of waste per procedures.
• Dust and wipe furniture, windows, countertops, and other surfaces.
• Clean interior and exterior glass, doors, and high-touch surfaces.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and restroom products.
• Respond promptly to spills and safety hazards.
• Perform routine inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Follow all safety policies and quality standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service by keeping facilities clean and welcoming.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

The Schedule Available Is

• Monday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
• Tuesday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
• Wednesday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
• Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
• Friday: 8:00am - 4:30pm

Responsibilities include the cleanliness and upkeep of customer-facing areas, breakrooms, quick turnaround area, bathrooms and the floorplate lot. • Clean interior and exterior glass, doors, and high-touch surfaces regularly.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, restroom products, and other facility essentials.
• Respond promptly to spills, safety hazards, and cleanliness concerns.
• Perform routine inspections of assigned areas and report maintenance or repair needs.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring facilities remain clean, welcoming, and professional at all times.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
