Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis Company, is seeking a Curbside Concierge - Airline Check-in Agent at the Pittsburgh airport curbside location. You will assist guests with baggage, issue boarding passes, and provide flight information with a focus on friendly, professional service in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires early shifts, weekend and holiday availability, outdoor work in all weather, and the ability to move luggage up to 75 lb.

Qualifications

• Early morning rotation required.
• At least 6 months experience in a face-to-face guest service position preferred.
• Data entry and/or computer experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests and clients.
• Ability to work in outside weather conditions required.
• Knowledge of the airline or travel industry preferred.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must successfully pass the pre-employment criminal background screening.
• Must pass pre-employment Drug Testing process.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly as they approach the desk.
• Assist guest with check-in of luggage and verify flight itinerary.
• Input guest information for new enrollees.
• Process check-in and charge for bags per airline requirements.
• Weigh bags and charge for overweight items.
• Tag luggage with destination tags.
• Provide boarding pass and receipts to guests.
• Secure luggage after processing.
• Maintain a positive, friendly and professional manner at all times.
• Manage payments and answer guest questions.
• Input and organize the concierge desk.
• Follow TSA safety and security procedures and airport badge requirements.
