Job summary

Paradies Shops at Pittsburgh International Airport seeks an experienced Cook to prepare and serve high-quality meals while maintaining strict food safety and cleanliness standards. The role requires following recipes, managing supplies, and supporting a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least a year of cooking experience, a High School diploma or GED, and the ability to work flexible shifts. Food handler’s card may be required where regulations apply.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of 1 year of closely related cooking experience, work experience in high-volume or fast casual dining preferred.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, understand instructions and policy documents, and converse with customers.
• Food handler's card may be required according to local/state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Exceed First Class Service standards and behavior with every guest, business partner and peers.
• Follows recipes and/or product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting and serving food items.
• Accountable for compliance with all local, state, federal laws and regulations including food safety.
• Samples products, estimate food requirements, check production and requisition supplies as needed.
• Practices excellent food safety and sanitation practices.
• Assist with ordering and planning food supplies.
• Assist with training new cooks and other staff as needed.
