Job summary

American Airlines is seeking a Compliance Coordinator to ensure stations meet Local, Federal, and Corporate mandates. The role involves maintaining detailed records, investigating irregularities, and interfacing with regulatory agencies and internal experts.

It covers areas such as Dangerous Goods, hazardous waste, and OSHA regulations. You will work with leadership across the Airports organization, reviewing controls to safeguard assets and conducting compliance reviews.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Leadership with practical coaching experience.
• Ability to work varying hours and shifts to meet business requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• FAA background checks and SIDA eligibility if applicable.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Ensure stations meet Local, Federal, and Corporate mandates and maintain detailed records.
• Investigate irregularities and interface with regulatory agencies and internal SME's.
• Present discrepancies to station leadership or HQ as necessary.
• Oversee environmental, safety, security, and OSHA regulations.
• Coordinate with leadership and external regulatory agencies.
• Review Internal Control standards to safeguard assets and maintain financial fitness.
• Conduct effective compliance reviews and proactively identify and resolve concerns.
