Job summary

American Airlines is seeking a Compliance Coordinator for the Las Vegas airport to ensure stations meet all regulatory mandates and corporate directives. You will maintain records, investigate discrepancies, and interface with regulators and internal experts to uphold safety and operational standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalency required.
• Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure stations meet Local, Federal, and Corporate mandates and directives.
• Maintain detailed records and present discrepancies to station leadership or escalate to headquarters as needed.
• Investigate irregularities and interface with regulatory agencies and internal subject matter experts.
• Oversee areas including Dangerous Goods, Hazardous waste handling, FAA, TSA, DOT, and FDA regulations, Environmental, Safety, Security, OSHA compliance.
• Review Internal Control standards to safeguard company assets and maintain station financial health.
