The limited-term, full-time intern role begins May/June 2027 and ends August/September 2027, requiring a driver’s license, background checks, and 75–100% site

Qualifications

• Two semesters of college-level coursework in civil engineering, construction management, or related field by hire date.
• Background checks required for access to airport sites.
• Valid driver’s license required; frequent travel to construction sites (75–100%).
• Mead & Hunt will not sponsor a visa (H-1B, etc.) for this position.
• Employment contingent upon pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers, technicians, and surveyors on civil airport projects (taxiways, runways, aprons).
• Perform measurements, quantity calculations, and prepare pay estimates.
• Assist with project report preparation.
• Conduct field inspections, documentation, and survey work.
• Conduct some technical research and writing.
• Perform other assigned tasks.
