You will support engineers, technicians, and surveyors on airport projects and other civil site work. The ideal candidate has completed at least two semesters of civil engineering coursework and brings familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil3D, and basic grading; strong observation, documentation, and written-report abilities are valued.

Qualifications

• Two semesters of civil engineering coursework completed by hire date.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil3D, and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of airport planning/design and basic grading/testing.
• Internships in construction, DOT projects, surveying or civil site inspections.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers, technicians, and surveyors on civil airport projects (taxiways, runways, aprons).
• Perform measurements, quantity calculations and prepare pay estimates.
• Assist with project report preparation.
• Perform field inspection, documentation, and survey work.
• Conduct some technical research and writing.
• Handle other assigned tasks.
