Qualifications

• Two semesters of college-level civil engineering coursework completed by date of hire.
• Valid driver's license; ability to pass background checks to access airport sites.
• Willingness to travel to construction project sites (approximately 100% of the time, may include overnight stays).
• Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and Civil3D is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers, technicians, and surveyors on civil airport projects (taxiways, runways, aprons).
• Take measurements and perform quantity calculations; help prepare pay estimates.
• Assist with project report preparation and field inspection, documentation and survey work.
• Conduct some technical research and writing; perform other tasks as assigned.
