Job summary

Mead & Hunt, Inc. is seeking a limited-term, full-time civil engineering intern to perform construction inspection on airport projects headquartered in Seattle, WA, with work across OR/WA.

The position runs May/June 2027 through August/September 2027 and requires a valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks. The intern will assist engineers and construction managers with taxiways, runways and related airport infrastructure, perform measurements, prepare pay estimates, and help

Qualifications

• Completed at least two semesters of civil engineering coursework from an accredited college or university.
• Familiar with AutoCAD, Civil3D and Microsoft Office software.
• Knowledge of airport planning, design or related civil engineering concepts.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers, technicians and project managers on civil airport projects (taxiways, runways, aprons).
• Perform measurements and prepare pay estimates and project reports.
• Conduct field inspection and documentation on construction sites.
• Support technical research and writing tasks as needed.
• Handle additional tasks as assigned.
