Job summary

Vosges Haut-Chocolat at O'Hare International Airport in Chicago is seeking a Chocolate Concierge to guide guests through our collection and help them select gifts within tight travel timelines.

You will narrate our flavor stories, offer samples, and handle gift packaging, while maintaining a clean, welcoming boutique. This role involves cash handling, POS transactions, and strict adherence to airport security procedures.

Qualifications

• Must obtain an airport ID badge through the Chicago Department of Aviation.
• Pass fingerprint-based background check and TSA security threat assessment.
• Provide verifiable employment history and two forms of ID.
• Complete airport security training before first shift.
• Follow airport and TSA rules and badge display.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and guide them to the right chocolate or gift.
• Share flavor stories and offer samples to help guests choose.
• Suggest gift pairings and multi-unit purchases to build the sale.
• Process sales, returns and exchanges on the POS.
• Gift-wrap and package purchases for travel.
• Restock and merchandise displays to brand standards.
• Receive deliveries, rotate product and check dates.
• Keep the boutique clean and food-safe.
• Follow all airport security rules and badge procedures.
• Open/close the store, count the register, and complete shift paperwork.
• Hand off to the next shift and flag issues.
