Job summary

Elite Line Services is seeking an entry-level technician to assist with maintenance and repairs on baggage handling systems and passenger boarding bridges at the Detroit area facility. The role requires following manuals, wearing PPE, and coordinating with senior technicians to ensure safe operation.

The position demands basic mechanical experience, ability to pass a mechanical aptitude test, and willingness to work weekends/holidays. English proficiency and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of mechanical experience.
• 1 year BHS or PBB experience, or be able to pass a mechanical aptitude test.
• Ability to work a non-traditional schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance and repair of Baggage Handling Systems and passenger boarding bridges.
• Assist with basic maintenance tasks including preventive, routine and emergency work.
• Diagnose equipment failures under guidance of senior personnel and ensure equipment runs safely.
• Read and interpret repair manuals and schematics, follow supervisor instructions.
• Work in tight spaces using PPE and fall protection as required.
• Complete safety training and company procedures.
