Job summary

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid REAL ID driver's license, and be able to work rotating shifts. You must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and work outdoors in variable weather.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or international equivalent.
• Valid REAL ID-compliant driver license; travel authorization as required.
• Ability to work rotating shifts including days, overnights, weekends, holidays.
• Able to carry, bend, lift and turn with items weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Guide and direct incoming and outgoing aircraft on the taxiway to ensure safe and on-time entry/exit at gates.
• Load, unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage, cargo, and company materials up to 75 lbs.
• Operate ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and bag carts to assist with aircraft services.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure safe and on-time departures.
• May clean aircraft interior and lavatories.

Responsibilities

• Guide and direct incoming and outgoing aircraft on the taxiway to ensure that they are entering or leaving their gate safely and on-time.
• Load, unload, sort, and appropriately transfer passenger baggage, cargo/freight, and company materials. Some of these items can weigh up to 75 lbs.
• Drive ground equipment such as tugs to help the plane push in/out of the gate, belt loaders to help load baggage, and bag carts to deliver baggage to the claim area or the connecting flight.
• Collaborate with the internal team to ensure a safe and on-time departure.
• May clean the interior of the aircraft, clean and service aircraft lavatories.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent
• Possess a valid, unexpired and unsuspended REAL ID-compliant, state driver's license; or otherwise maintain all necessary authority and identification to travel for business needs as required; some license restrictions may prohibit a candidate from being considered for this role.
• Ability to work rotating shifts including days, overnights, weekends, holidays, and rotating days off
• Flexible to work additional hours with short notice when operationally necessary
