Job summary

Envoy Air Inc. in Los Angeles is seeking a Ramp Agent to load, unload and sort freight, mail and baggage to ensure on-time departures. You will work outdoors in all weather and ride company vehicles to move bags to their destination.

This entry-level role offers on-the-job training and shift flexibility. You will also benefit from travel privileges for you and your family, a comprehensive benefits package, and a 401(k) with company match after one year.

Qualifications

• Must be able to carry, bend, lift and turn with bags weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Possess a valid, unexpired REAL ID-compliant license or travel authorization as required; some license restrictions may apply.
• 18 years or older.
• High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and sort freight, mail and baggage in a safe manner while ensuring on-time departures and arrivals.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Cruise on the tarmac in company vehicles while delivering bags to their destination.
• Enjoy shifts that may vary, including irregular/extended hours, weekends and holidays.

What you will be doing!

• Load, unload and sort freight, mail and baggage in a safe manner while also achieving on-time departures and arrivals.


• No need for a gym membership as you will be getting your workout in by lifting luggage throughout your shift.


• Ability to cruise on the tarmac in our company vehicles while getting the bags to their destination.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Must be able to carry, bend, lift and turn with bags weighing up to 75 pounds.


• Possess a valid, unexpired and unsuspended REAL ID-compliant, state driver's license; or otherwise maintain all necessary authority and identification to travel for business needs as required; some license restrictions may prohibit a candidate from being considered for this role


• 18 years or older.


• High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent.


• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.


• Authorized to work in U.S. without sponsorship.
