Job summary

Airport agents at SkyWest Airlines are responsible for delivering excellent customer service, handling ticketing, boarding, baggage processing, and rebooking passengers. The role involves working outdoors in all weather, greeting passengers, and assisting with special needs while ensuring efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid, unrestricted state-issued driver’s license.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass a background check and drug screening.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Lift 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Adaptability to changing priorities and time management skills.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Flexible schedule, including split shifts that may occur during early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• This is a full- time position, starting at $16 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload customer luggage, airfreight, and company mail on/off aircraft
• Greet passengers, issue tickets, provide seat assignments, check baggage, board flights, assist customers that arrive without their luggage, and rebook passengers all in a prompt and friendly manner
• Escort passengers and special-needs customers safely and courteously
• Marshal aircraft in and out of the ramp area
• Service aircraft as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Primary Job Duties

Airport agents are primarily responsible for ensuring excellent customer service while performing a variety of tasks, including but not limited to ticketing and rebooking passengers, boarding flights, assisting passengers with special needs, resolving customer concerns, and more.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload customer luggage, airfreight, and company mail on/off aircraft
