Job summary

SkyWest Airlines is hiring part-time airport agents to deliver outstanding customer service at the airport. Responsibilities include ticketing, rebooking passengers, loading luggage, escorting customers with special needs, and assisting with boarding and baggage handling.

The role requires flexibility, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work outside in all weather conditions. Ideal candidates are 18+, capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, pass a background check, and are authorized to

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age or older.
• Valid, unrestricted state-issued driver’s license.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Pass a background check and drug screening.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Lift 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Flexible schedule including split shifts (early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays).
• Able to adapt to changing priorities and manage time effectively.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Flexible schedule including split shifts, mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Part-time position starting at $14.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload customer luggage and airfreight.
• Greet passengers, issue tickets, assign seats, check baggage, rebook passengers.
• Escort passengers and customers with special needs safely.
• Marshal aircraft on the ramp.
• Work outside in all weather conditions.
• Service aircraft as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Primary Job Duties

Airport agents are primarily responsible for ensuring excellent customer service while performing a variety of tasks, including, but not limited to ticketing and rebooking passengers, boarding flights, assisting passengers with special needs, resolving customer concerns, and more.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload customer luggage, airfreight, and company mail onto and off aircraft
• Greet passengers, issue tickets, provide seat assignments, check baggage, board flights, assist customers who arrive without their luggage, and rebook passengers, all in a prompt and friendly manner
• Escort passengers and customers with special needs safely and courteously
• Marshal aircraft in and out of the ramp area
• This position requires you to work outside in all weather conditions
• Service aircraft as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• Possess a valid, unrestricted, state-issued driver’s license
• Have a High School Diploma or GED
• Pass a background check and drug screening
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Basic knowledge of fundamental computer programs for record-keeping and baggage routing
• Lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Adaptability to changing priorities and effective time management skills
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• This position requires a flexible schedule, including split shifts that may occur during early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• This is a part-time position, starting at $14.50 per hour
